The Salimpour School of Dance contracted with me to produce the Middle Eastern Music History and Study Guide which is an educational book written and produced to support the courses that the school offers. The book includes a history of Middle Eastern music, an overview of the structure of Middle Eastern music, and details about each musical instrument used. Original photos were provided as well as stock images used to round out the chapters. The book is offered in both print-on-demand and as an e-book. Adobe InDesign was used for the book template design and print and epub production. Adobe Photoshop was used for photo management. HTML was used for epub finalizing, live navigation links, live index, and e-book publishing for Amazon.
