The book "Mary Brewster's Love Life -- Matriarch of The Mayflower" is the second book in a series by author, Kathryn Brewster Haueisen. The author requested a book cover design that is in line with the design style of her first book "Mayflower Chronicles" as well as highlighting how Mary Brewster was an integral supporter and a guide to all the females that were part of the Separatist Group that eventually sailed to the New World for a better life. I accomplished this design by using an engraving effect on images in Photoshop as well as drawing elements in Illustrator for use in the background. The final design is used for the cover design for a soft cover, hardback cover, book jacket design, and cover image for the e-book.
