The author of "I Am A Better Me" — Floyd Q. Roberts — contracted with me to convert his existing print book to an e-book for uploading to KDP/Amazon publishing. The author's requested that the e-book looks like the print book design (original designer unknown). I have designed an e-book template that has the same look and feel with similar chapter start pages starting mid-way as well as including the same graphics used as part of the chapter headings. The Table of Contents, also designed to look like the print book, includes live navigation. Adobe Illustrator was used to produce the graphics. Adobe Acrobat was used to convert the print PDF to an editable text format that was imported to InDesign for e-book production. The final epub file was exported from InDesign and finalized with HTML to ensure top e-reader performance and ease of Amazon publishing. The final epub file was tested on my Kindle prior to release for publishing.
